Safety Representative

Location: Terrell, TX
Job Type: 11-Month Contract
Pay: $28–$35/hour
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Per Diem: None

We are seeking an experienced Safety Representative to support an 11-month electrical construction project at an Amazon Distribution Center in Terrell, TX . This is a local opportunity with an electrical contractor, and candidates must currently be located in the DFW area .

Responsibilities

• Support daily safety operations on an active electrical construction project.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Help ensure employees and subcontractors are following company and project safety requirements.
• Conduct and assist with safety meetings, toolbox talks, and jobsite orientations.
• Monitor safe work practices and address safety concerns in the field.
• Assist with incident reporting and documentation.
• Maintain required safety records and documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
• Work closely with field supervision and project management to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience supporting electrical construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in an active construction environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be local to the DFW area .

Important Details

• 40–50 hours per week
• $28–$35/hour
• 11-month contract
• No per diem
• No travelers
• Candidates must currently live in the DFW area .
• This is a construction safety position supporting an electrical contractor , not an IT/data center safety position.
