Description

Position: Low Voltage Data Center Technician

Location: Red Oak, TX 75154

Project Duration: 4 months with possible extension

Potential for Long-Term Opportunity Based on Performance

Schedule

• 6-7 days per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Monday-Saturday (must be open to Sundays as needed)

Responsibilities

• Pull and install fiber optic and copper cabling
• Run, pull, dress, label, and organize cabling
• Rack and stack networking equipment
• Install and connect pre-terminated fiber into cassettes
• Perform fiber and copper terminations
• Work with backbone fiber including 144-count and 288-count fiber
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting activities
• Follow data center standards, safety protocols, and construction site requirements

Preferred Experience

• Fiber optic installation
• Copper installation
• Testing and troubleshooting utilizing Fluke testers and OTDR equipment
• Lead technician experience is a plus

Required Qualifications

• Previous data center experience
• Experience installing fiber optic and/or copper cabling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction or mission-critical environment
• Ability to work extended shifts and overtime as required
• Reliable transportation to the designated shuttle location

Training & Onboarding Requirements

• Project orientation conducted onsite
• Company onboarding process
• OSHA 10 Certification required
• Scissor Lift Certification required
  • Candidates are responsible for obtaining required certifications if not already held

Compliance Requirements

• Drug screening required
• Random onsite drug testing
• Background check required during project onboarding
• PPE required and must be always worn onsite

This is a Contract position based out of Red Oak, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Red Oak,TX.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 28, 2026.
