Zottola Family Dental is seeking a reliable and friendly Registered Dental Hygienist for a temporary maternity leave coverage position. Dental hygienist
Job Description Patient Care: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings (prophy), exams, and periodontal maintenance.
Diagnostic Imaging: Capture high-quality X-rays, including periapical views, as needed for diagnostics.
Clinical Excellence: Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide personalized oral hygiene instructions.
Workflow Management: Maintain accurate patient records and follow sterilization and safety protocols.
Collaboration: Work alongside our dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for every patient.
part-time $50 - $55 per hour

This is a Temporary position for maternity leave coverage from March 16, 2026, to June 15, 2026.
Days: Mondays and Thursdays.
Hours: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM.
Expected Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week.
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license for the state of Connecticut.
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays (Periapical and Bitewing).
Strong skills in periodontal maintenance and preventive care.
A patient-focused, friendly, and reliable professional demeanor.
Previous experience in a general dental practice setting.
Familiarity with Dentrix dental software.
